Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club, Inc.

Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Rescue is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization made up of volunteers who serve the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area in respect to the rescue of Shetland Sheepdogs. Our rescue group is under the direction of the Mid-Arizona Shetland Sheepdog Club, Inc. The club and rescue group are both comprised of volunteers dedicated to the preservation and care of all purebred Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties).

Our rescue group takes in abandoned, lost and unwanted shelties of any age or sex in order to find them a permanent, loving home. All rescue dogs are vet-checked, vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered, and are fostered in loving homes. Each dog’s temperament is evaluated to determine the type of permanent home that would be most suitable for the dog. Rescue provides for the dog’s care while they are being fostered, oversees placement and will assist you with any issues you may have with transitioning the dog into your home. Our goal is to place the right dog in the right home regardless of the time it takes while providing the dog with lots of love. A nominal adoption fee is charged for each adoption.
